The United States Government, ordained by We the People of the United States, has created jobs, growth of businesses and America's high standard of living over the past two hundred and twenty plus years.
In building the Nations infrastructure the Government expanded the need for Private Sector Businesses to supply the products and services to build, furnish and supply Government buildings and facilities, dams, roads and bridges, sewers, ships, railroads, airports, embassies, dredge shipping lanes, ice breakers, and in doing so created jobs.
Not only has the Private Business Sector expanded and profited from serving and supplying the needs of Government, they use the highways, courts, airports, embassies and staff, police, firefighters, water supplies, subsidies, guarantees, loans provided by the Government. The Government grants Corporate stakeholders limited financial liability exposure as an incentive for investors to risk investing in Corporations. The purpose and intent of the immunities is to expand business, create domestic jobs and Corporate tax revenue streams.
In creating jobs, growth and the expansion of Private Sector Business the Government created America's High Standard of Living. The Private Business Sector in contributing and lobbying elected officials to lower taxes, eliminate regulation, privatize Government services, eliminate Government services has underminded the United States Economy and Standard of Living.
Government subsidies, guarantees and loans created the rise of the housing and improvement market industries and wealth for Private Sector construction companies, suppliers and mortgage lenders and made housing affordable to tens of millions of Americans enhancing their standard of living. Government land grants made it possible for common folks to own and develop land in the mid-west, stake claims and pan for gold in the west expanding and growing the Nation. The Government made it possible for all Americans to go to school and receive an education to develop their skills and talents to become doctors, engineers, scientist, economist, business and civic leaders.
Think about it; who, when, where and how has the Private Business Sector done so much for the Country eh?
